The rooms have a cozy feel, with well-equipped kitchenettes perfect for whipping up meals, and the views of the mountains from the studios are stunning. The location is a real gem, just a stone's throw from the shops and the lake, making it super convenient to explore.
The ceiling and walls are a bit thin, so expect to hear more than you bargained for from your neighbors. Ongoing roadworks nearby cause some access issues, and dragging luggage over pebbled paths is a hassle. At night, the lack of outdoor lights made returns to the room a bit tricky. Some reported disturbances from partying guests and noisy upstairs neighbors, which can interrupt a good night's sleep.

Convenient location near shops and cafes.
The furniture felt outdated and worn. There was a persistent smell in the bathroom that seemed like mould. the TV options were limited, which was very disappointing for longer stays.

Had an amazing time with my friends! The central location made it easy to explore and we hit the slopes for some skiing. The hot showers after a day of adventure were a lifesaver, and the heating kept us cozy. Perfect for a group getaway!
The check-in process was frustrating, as the ongoing roadworks created access issues that made it hard to get there smoothly.

I stayed 5 nights in a studio with lake view, and I have to say, the location was just grand—only a few minutes' walk to everything! The welcome from the staff was real warm. Just a pity about the incline to my room, my legs were not impressed!

I really enjoyed my stay at Amber Lodge. The room felt comfortable and warm, especially during the chilly nights. Having a well-equipped kitchenette allowed me to prepare meals easily and enjoy them at the dining table. I appreciated the central location. everything I wanted to see was just a short walk away, making exploring Queenstown hassle-free. On the downside, noise from upstairs was quite disruptive, especially early in the morning. The flooring made it easy to hear footsteps, which interrupted my sleep. Wi-Fi could have been better as well, making it difficult to get work done during my stay.

Great location with stunning mountain views
The one-bedroom apartment we stayed in had a lovely kitchenette that was well-equipped for our needs, and the heating system kept us warm during the chilly nights. We really enjoyed the amazing views of the snow-capped mountains from our room, which made our mornings so special. a few light bulbs were out, and there could be better soundproofing from the street noise outside.

The room was spacious and clean, providing great views of the lake and mountains. The staff were friendly and responsive, quickly addressing my needs, including extending my checkout time. several light bulbs were out, and some amenities in the bathroom, like a lack of towel rails and a malfunctioning soap dispenser, made for an inconvenient experience. the door to the room lacked a secure lock, which was concerning with young children. Sourdough bread was a delightful touch during my stay.
